Moldovan President Maia Sandu has stated that her Party of Action and Solidarity is ready to form a coalition in the future parliament exclusively with pro-European parties.
According to Report, she made the remarks while answering journalists' questions at a polling station about the possible composition of the next parliamentary majority.
"Only people who truly believe in European values can form a pro-European majority in the next parliament, and only then will we be able to move forward," Sandu said.
Parliamentary elections are being held in Moldova on September 28. For the vote to be considered valid, at least one-third of the 3.2 million registered voters must participate.
More than 3,000 observers are monitoring the elections, including over 600 representatives from more than 20 countries, the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, and EU organizations.
