Moldova reports large-scale cyber-attacks on government websites

The Information Technology and Cyber Security Service of Moldova has reported about cyber-attacks on the websites of government institutions, Report informs referring to TASS.

“We inform about fraudulent phishing cyberattacks on government agencies. To date, more than 1,330 messages have been sent to the email addresses of government departments,” the service said in a statement.

Website owners in the md domain zone are sent notifications about the need to renew the domain name and a payment link. In this way, attackers are trying to get confidential user data, the Information Technology and Cyber ​​Security Service clarified.
