Mexico lifts presidential immunity

The Mexican Senate has approved an amendment to the constitution to remove the president from judicial immunity, Report says, referring to TASS.
Eighty-nine senates voted in favor of the change, and 23 senates voted against it. Thus, the elected leader of the republic can be prosecuted before the end of the presidential term.
Besides, the head of state will have to address parliament before a criminal case against the president can be sent to court.
