Media: US–Iran talks in Islamabad to last one day

The talks between the United States and Iran in Islamabad, Pakistan are scheduled to last only one day, Report informs, citing Tasnim.
The agency also rejected reports by US media suggesting the negotiations could continue for several days, stating: "The talks are currently planned for one day."
At the same time, Al-Khadath reported that the negotiations are expected to begin after 17:00 local time (16:00 Baku time (GMT+4).
Before the talks, the Iranian delegation is set to meet Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The meeting is expected to start after 13:00 local time (12:00 Baku time).
Both delegations have arrived in Islamabad amid ongoing efforts to consolidate a two-week ceasefire agreement reached on April 8, 2026.
