Media: Casualties reported as US troops fire shots at Kabul airport

Several people died after US troops fired warning shots at Afghan nationals at the Kabul airport, a source in the security forces told RIA Novosti.

Report informs, citing France Press, that it happened when the crowds turned to the airfield in search of a flight to leave the country.

Al-Jazeera reported earlier that the airport is overwhelmed with chaos, with desperate residents gathered at the entrance to the only airport inundated with employees of diplomatic missions, who are evacuated on helicopters.
