Kallas: Putin not interested in peace, war will continue unless Russia forced to end it

Russian President Vladimir Putin has no interest in achieving peace in Ukraine, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, said during her address to the European Parliament, Report informs.
"Putin has zero interest in peace and will not stop the war unless he is forced to," Kallas said.
She emphasized that Europe remains determined to continue deterring Russia:
"Russia has not broken the resolve of Ukraine. It is not breaking ours either."
According to Kallas, Russia cannot win the war and must withdraw from the battlefield and begin negotiations with Ukraine. Once peace is restored, she added, Russia must not be allowed to rearm.
She also noted that EU countries "have met 80% of our 2 million rounds of ammunition target. We aim for 100% by October."
