Kabul airport suspends flights

All flights from and to the Kabul airport have been suspended until further notice after crowds desperate to leave Afghanistan amassed its premises, according to the order of the country's civil aviation, circulated today, Report informs, citing TASS.
The passengers willing to leave for various regions of the country and abroad will be notified about the resumption of flights beforehand, the airport said in a statement on Facebook.
The move is aimed at preventing crowds from amassing the airport premises and creating chaos there.
The message also said Afghanistan's aviation authorities are working actively for domestic and international flights at the Kabul airport to resume as soon as possible.
