Azerbaijan's Central Bank updates economic growth forecasts

In 2026, Azerbaijan's economy is expected to grow by 0.5%, including 2.4% in the non-oil and gas sector, Taleh Kazimov, Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), stated during a press conference.
"For next year, growth is projected at 2.6% overall and 3.9% in the non-oil and gas sector," Kazimov noted.
Meanwhile, in May, the CBA forecasted that in 2026, Azerbaijan's GDP would grow by 1.1%, including 3.2% in the non-oil and gas sector, while in 2027, growth was expected to reach 3.2% and 4.7%, respectively.
