About 1,000 Japanese LNG companies are unable to take meter readings, Report informs referring to NHK TV channel.
The reason for this was the attack of a ransomware virus. Gas company Purpose Co. Ltd has been hacked. The server responsible for the gas meter management system was attacked by a ransomware virus.
No data leaks were recorded.
