Indian PM to make his first visit to Russia after being re-elected

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay an official visit to Russia on July 8-9, Report informs referring to the Kremlin press service.
“At the negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, prospects for the further development of traditionally friendly Russian-Indian relations, as well as current issues on the international and regional agenda will be discussed,” reads the statement.
This is Modi’s first visit to Russia after taking office as prime minister for the third time. The last time the head of the Indian government visited Russia was in 2019.
