India sees another record increase in COVID mortality

The daily increase in India’s coronavirus mortality has set a new record, Report informs, citing the Indian Health Ministry.
Over the past day, 4,329 people died in India due to COVID-related health complications.
The total number of detected cases in the country has exceeded 25 million.
However, for the second day in a row, the increase in the number of new cases is less than 300,000 after 263,500 new cases were detected over the past day.
India still ranks second in the world in the number of detected cases of coronavirus. According to the latest data from the Health Ministry, more than 21.5 million have recovered, and more than 278,000 have died. Currently, 3.3 million infected Indians are receiving treatment.
