India may face new wave of pandemic

The Health Ministry of India has registered 40,134 new cases of coronavirus infection over the past day, Report informs via foreign media.
Thus, the number of people infected during the epidemic reached 31,695,958 in India.
As the ministry notes, for the sixth day in a row, the incidence is over 40,000.
Over the past day, the number of deaths associated with coronavirus infection has increased in India by 422 and reached 424,773. As of August 2, 413,718 patients are undergoing treatment in the country, 2,766 more than the day before.
According to some experts, the surge in the incidence may indicate the onset of a new wave, which may reach its peak by October.
