The Israel Defense Forces have lost 842 people killed in battles with the radical Palestinian movement Hamas since the escalation of the conflict on October 7, 2023, according to a statement by the army press service, Report informs via TASS.
According to the latest data published by the IDF, another Israeli soldier was killed on January 30 during military operations in the West Bank, where the Jewish state's military has been conducting an anti-terrorist operation since last week.
The 20-year-old senior sergeant was killed in a shootout with Palestinian resistance fighters in Jenin, and five other servicemen were wounded.
