Hurst: US military spending on Iran operation reaches $29B

Washington's military spending within the US and Israeli operation against Iran has so far amounted to $29 billion.
Report informs, citing The Guardian, that Pentagon chief financial officer Jules Hurst said this.
He noted that the amount includes the renewal, repair and replacement of military equipment, as well as operational expenses.
Hurst stressed that the costs increased by $4 billion compared with the figure announced late last month.
At the end of April, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said US spending within the military operation against Iran stood at $25 billion.
