Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem has said that the official Lebanese government is responsible for the mass unrest in the country caused by the plan to disarm the group's members, Report informs referring to The Times of Israel.
Qassem also threatened that "there will not be a single living soul left in Lebanon" if the government tries to take away Hezbollah's weapons by force.
He added that Hezbollah and its allied Amal movement have decided to postpone any street protests against the US- and Beirut-backed disarmament plan, as they still see room for dialogue with the Lebanese government.
However, he said that any future protests could reach the US Embassy.
