Hamas member says movement not in talks on release of prisoners

The radical Hamas movement is not negotiating with mediators for the release of hostages captured during the attack on Israel, one of the members of the leadership of the movement, Bassem Naim, said in an interview with the Al-Arabi al-Jadid newspaper, Report informs referring to TASS.
He denied information about any negotiations between Hamas and international mediators to conclude a deal with Israel on the exchange of prisoners.
“At the moment this is the official and consistent position of the movement,” he said.
