Global COVID tally exceeds 228 million

The number of recorded coronavirus cases in the world has reached 228,167,999, Report informs, citing the Johns Hopkins University.
Since the pandemic onset, 4,686,384 people have become victims of COVID-19.
The United States remains the leader in terms of the total COVID tally with 42,050,752 registered cases, followed by India (33,448,163) and Brazil (21,230,325).
To date, over 5.88 billion doses of coronavirus jabs have been administered.
