Germany sees over 10,000 new COVID cases

Over the past day, Germany recorded 10,790 coronavirus cases, Report informs, citing the Robert Koch Institute of the Federal German Health Ministry.
Meanwhile, the disease claimed 70 lives across the country.
According to the institute, since the pandemic onset, 2,569,245 people have contracted the coronavirus in Germany. More than 2.3 million of those infected have already recovered.
As many as 73,371 people have died in the country due to coronavirus-related health complications.
