EU imposes sanctions on Iranian drone maker Shahed

The EU has imposed sanctions on Iranian drone manufacturer Shahed Aviation Industries and three generals from the republic, according to the EU Council resolution on Iran, published in the Official Journal of the EU on October 20, Report informs referring to TASS.
The Iranian regime is providing military assistance to Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified aggression against Ukraine. In view of the gravity of the situation, the Council of the EU has decided that three individuals and one organization associated with the supply of drones to Russia should be included in the EU sanctions list, the document says.
The appendix of the document lists three Iranian generals and Shahed Aviation Industries.
