Erdogan wants to turn Istanbul into peace center

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that he wants to turn Istanbul into a center of peace, Report informs.
In his statement after the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Erdogan noted that the delegations of Russia and Ukraine met in Istanbul today:
"I wish that both Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy would come together in Istanbul or Ankara. Even Donald Trump could join the meeting. If they accept, I also want to meet with them and turn Istanbul into a center of peace. We will take steps for this initiative."
