Erdogan calls on world community to follow Trump's example

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan welcomed the decision of US President Donald Trump to lift sanctions on Syria and called on other countries to follow Washington's example, according to the statement by the Presidency of Türkiye, Report informs.
As indicated in the statement regarding the results of the quadrilateral talks in Riyadh, which Erdogan joined via videoconference, the Turkish President noted that Trump's decision to lift sanctions against Syria is of historical significance.
He expressed confidence that this decision will be an example for other countries that still apply sanctions against Syria, and will create new investment opportunities in various fields.
