Ecuadorian president hospitalized

The President of Ecuador, Guillermo Lasso, was hospitalized for a urinary tract infection, for which he suspended his activities planned for this Sunday and Monday, Report informs.

The Ecuadorian presidency indicated that Lasso had a “fever and general malaise” after giving an interview to an international media, “that’s why he was transferred to the military hospital in Quito”.

The medical team recommended that he remain under observation in the health facility and rest while treatment is being administered for this “health breakdown” according to a press release.
