A curfew has been imposed in the Brazilian capital, Brasilia, since Monday evening due to an increase in new cases of coronavirus infection.
According to Report, the governor of the federal district of the capital Ibaneis Rocha signed the relevant decree.
"The situation is critical. The 22-hour ban came into force. Everyone in the federal district must stay at home for 22 hours. The travel ban will be in force until March 22," Rosha tweeted.
Only health facilities, veterinary clinics, and funeral homes will continue their work after 22 hours.
