US President Joseph Biden believes he has made the right decision to withdraw US troops from Afghanistan.
"My job is to make judgments no one else can or will make. I made them. I'm convinced I'm absolutely correct in not deciding to send more young men and women to war for a war that is in fact no longer warranted," Joseph Biden said during a speech at the White House.
Biden has thereby responded to a request for comment on opinion polls, according to which the majority of Americans do not approve of the development of events in Afghanistan. The US President noted that he had not seen these polls.
