"The US stands ready to continue to assist, and I'll have more for you as we move on," US President Joe Biden told journalists without giving details, Report informs.
The people of Haiti deserve peace and security. Political leaders need to come together."
Jovenel Moïse was shot to death at his home in Port-au-Prince, the Haitian capital, in the early morning of July 7. His wife, Martine Moïse, was seriously wounded in the attack and taken to Miami, Florida, for treatment.
The Haitian Senate later announced an interim president. The decision states that the acting head of government will be Senate President Joseph Lambert.
