Baltic FMs reject Russian disinformation over alleged airspace access for Ukrainian drones

The foreign ministers of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania said they had firmly rejected a Russian disinformation campaign alleging that the Baltic states had agreed to open their airspace for the passage of Ukrainian drones.

Report informs, citing a joint statement published on the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry"s website, that the ministers said the claims were completely unfounded.

They said the Baltic states had never allowed their territories or airspace to be used for drone strikes against targets in Russia.

The ministers added that the accusations had been officially denied, and that the matter had been clearly communicated to Russia"s chargé d"affaires in Tallinn on March 27, in Riga on March 31, and in Vilnius on March 27.
