5.2 magnitude quake shakes Greece

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake hit off the southwestern coast of the island of Evia, Greece's second largest, shaking the capital Athens, southwest of the tremor's epicenter, Report informs via Ekathimerini.
No injuries or damages were immediately reported.
The tremor was felt 27 minutes after midnight local time on Tuesday, gradually gaining strength. In its automatic estimate, the Athens-based Institute of Geodynamics announced on its website (gein.noa.gr) that the earthquake occurred five kilometers northwest of the town of Nea Styra, at a depth of just 13.6 kilometers.
Stergios Tsirkas, mayor of Marathonas, a town across the South Euboean Gulf from Nea Styra, said that the tremor "was very intense," but that there are no reports of damage so far. The mayor of Karystos, a town in south Evia, said his office also had no immediate reports of damages.
