10,000 people evacuated in France due to forest fire

Authorities in France's Pyrénées‑Orientales department are evacuating around 10,000 people as a massive forest fire has spiraled out of control, Report informs via BFMTV.
It was noted that a full evacuation has been ordered in the commune of Ille‑sur‑Têt, home to about 5,500 residents. They are being relocated to the Moulin‑à‑Vent area in Perpignan until firefighters secure the zone.
Additionally, approximately 5,000 people have been evacuated from 19 communes and several campsites in the Aspres area and surrounding regions.
