Serbian parliament speaker describes ties with Azerbaijan as exemplary

The political relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia serve as an example for others, said Ana Brnabić, Speaker of the National Assembly of Serbia, during a joint briefing with Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis, Report informs.

Brnabić, currently on an official visit to Baku, noted that the close cooperation between the two countries is rooted in their shared vision and mutual understanding.

"The purpose of my visit is to strengthen economic, political, and interparliamentary relations. Our bilateral ties are exemplary," she stated.

She also emphasized the importance of reciprocal high-level visits in deepening ties between the two nations.

"In the near future, a meeting of the Azerbaijan-Serbia Strategic Partnership Council will be held in Belgrade, and we hope to welcome President Ilham Aliyev in Serbia," Brnabić added.
