Azerbaijan–UK Interparliamentary Working Group resumes operations

The activities of the working group on Azerbaijan's interparliamentary relations with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland have been resumed, Milli Majlis deputy and head of the working group, Fariz Ismailzada, told Report.

According to him, a meeting of the working group was held in London today.

"After a long pause, the activities of the working group have been restored. As a result of joint efforts by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the United Kingdom and the Milli Majlis, interparliamentary contacts have once again become active. Today, meetings were held with British MPs, as well as with representatives of analytical and research centers in London, including the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) and the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS)," Ismailzada noted.
