Azerbaijani Parliament to discuss media and social networks

The current state of the media and social networks in Azerbaijan will be discussed in the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the work plan of the spring session of the Parliamentary Committee for Human Rights in 2022.
The committee plans to hold discussions and hearings on the current state of the media (including social networks) and a new development strategy in the country with the participation of the Azerbaijani Commissioner for Human Rights and the Media Development Agency, as well as issues related to defamation.
