Average monthly pension in Azerbaijan to rise to nearly $256 - EXCLUSIVE

The average monthly pension will be increased in Azerbaijan next year, Report informs.

This was reflected in the opinion of the Accounting Chamber on the draft law "On the State Budget of 2024".

The fact that the average monthly pension amount has increased by 16.9% in the first half of the current year, as well as the forecast of the growth rate of the average monthly salary for the country at the end of the year at 10.7%, indicates that the average monthly pension will be around 435 manats ($255.88) at the beginning of the next year.

This figure for 2023 is 372.1 ($218.88).
