Baku hosts Academic Course on Strategic Studies and State Defense Administration

Strategic Studies and State Defense Administration Academic Course involving representatives from the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense, other state agencies, and from fraternal countries of Türkiye and Pakistan is being held at the Military Administration Institute of the National Defense University, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

On the first day of the course, NDU Rector Major General Gunduz Abdulov met with the course participants, congratulated them on behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense, as well as on his own behalf, and wished them success in their studies.

University Rector, welcoming the Turkish and Pakistani listeners participating in the academic course, stated that the Azerbaijani-Turkish-Pakistani trilateral military cooperation is built on friendship, brotherhood and alliance relations, and touched upon the benefits of this alliance for the advancement of military education in all three countries.

Major General G.Abdulov confidently stated that, in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, innovations based on advanced world experience and national military-strategic interests are being implemented in the military educational system of the army, and that such courses play a crucial role in increasing the professionalism of officers. The Rector also emphasized that the course would contribute to strengthening mutual relations of the Ministry of Defense with other state agencies and improving their joint activities.

During the course, the attendees will receive lectures on the basics of international affairs, global security, foreign policy, strategy and defense planning, state defense, and defense resource management, as well as group exercises and practical experiences.
