Russian MFA: It is important to resolve issues on mine clearance and maps of minefields

"Russia strongly supports the steps to normalize the dialogues between Baku and Yerevan, between Yerevan and Ankara," Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a weekly briefing, the Russian Bureau of Report informs.
"Cooperation in the South Caucasus should be developed based on the principles of good-neighborliness, considering and balancing all the countries of the region."
Zakharova also stressed that Russia welcomes the transfer of 15 Armenian military personnel to Yerevan by the Azerbaijani side on June 12: "Besides, we believe it is important to solve other humanitarian issues, particularly those related to mine clearance and the hand over maps of minefields."
