There is no return to any discussions of the status of Karabakh, the Nagorno Karabakh conflict has been resolved, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in his interview with EL PAIS, Report informs.
"Azerbaijan's position is open and clear. We want peace; we do not want war. We have won the war; we are the winners. And this reality must be taken into account. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is resolved. There is no return to any discussions of the status of Nagorno-Karabakh or anything like that," the head of state said.
Speaking about the situation in the region, the head of state noted that it is relatively stable.
"Unfortunately, Armenia has not stopped the attempts of revenge. For them, the defeat in the Second Karabakh War was very painful, absolutely devastating for their ideological basis and for the propaganda, which for almost 30 years has spoken about the invincible army, the strength, and bravery of its soldiers and commanders. Their army was completely destroyed during the 44-day war," President Aliyev said.
