The Khankandi Cultural Center in Azerbaijan, built in the 1960s and 1970s, has been reopened after a major renovation.
According to a Report correspondent from Khankandi, cracks, deformations, and various damage have developed in the building's supporting structures due to long-term use.
As a result of the major renovation, the Cultural Center now offers the necessary conditions for hosting various cultural events, film screenings and stage performances, creative arts, classes, administrative management, and tourism services.
The three-story building houses an auditorium and cinema, a multifunctional area for clubs in various fields, dressing rooms, a refreshment bar, a box office, and a souvenir shop. The 348-seat auditorium can host concerts, performances, film screenings, presentations, official meetings, and other cultural events.
This center will play a key role in revitalizing Khankandi's cultural life and will become one of the main venues for public events.
