Azerbaijan reserves right to take measures against military targets

"Most of the attacks are carried out from the territory of Armenia. Azerbaijan has the freedom to self-defense under international humanitarian law and the Geneva Convention. Azerbaijan reserves the right to take measures against military targets," Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, told journalists in Barda.
According to Report, he says that Azerbaijan does not and will not wage war with civilians:
"It is the difference between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Our country is fighting on the battlefield. We are not waging war against Armenian civilians, but we are taking measures against legitimate military targets. This is our culture."
