Another group of IDPs heads to Jabrayil and Khidirli village in Aghdam district

Another group of former internally displaced persons has departed for the city of Jabrayil and the village of Khidirli in the Aghdam district, as part of the Great Return to the territories liberated from occupation, in line with the instructions of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

According to Report, today another group of former IDPs is heading to the city of Jabrayil and the village of Khidirli in the Aghdam district.

At this stage, an additional 50 families (199 people) are returning to Jabrayil, while 60 families (235 people) are moving back to Khidirli village.

The former IDPs returning to their native village expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care. They also conveyed their thanks to the valiant Azerbaijani Army, heroic soldiers, and officers who liberated the lands from occupation, and wished eternal peace to the souls of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for this cause.

Currently, about 50,000 people live and work in Karabakh and East Zangazur. Along with former IDPs, these include individuals working on projects in the region, as well as those performing official duties in local government institutions in the fields of healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy.
