Azerbaijan, together with the Turkic states, should convey the truths about the cultural heritage destroyed in Armenia to the world community, Seymur Fataliyev, Ambassador-at-large, Secretary General of the National Commission for UNESCO, said at the international conference themed 'Livable and sustainable heritage cities' in Baku, Report informs.
"Some examples of cultural heritage and historical monuments of Azerbaijan are located in the territory of current Armenia. In order to lose these traces of our history, Armenia destroyed our cultural heritage and distorted the monuments. These heritage examples and monuments also contain the past of the Turkic peoples," he noted.
