Rufat Mahmud: Tourist growth affects daily life in Icherisheher

The growing tourist flow in Icherisheher is having an impact on the daily lives of residents, stated Rufat Mahmud, head of the Administration of the State Historical-Architectural Reserve Icherisheher, at WUF13 in Baku, according to Report.
He said that living in historic cities requires different and more complex conditions compared to modern urban environments.
"Living in Icherisheher and in historic cities is not easy at all. Our task is to ensure maximum comfort for residents," he said.
