Kazmortransflot, a subsidiary of KazMunayGas (KMG), increased container shipments across the Caspian Sea by more than 15% in 2025, Report informs, citing KMG.
Kazmortransflot demonstrated steady growth in container shipping across the Caspian, strengthening Kazakhstan"s position in developing transit and transport potential.
Last year, 59,400 TEU (twenty-foot equivalent units) of containers were transported along the Aktau–Baku–Aktau feeder line. This figure is more than 15% higher compared to 2024, when 51,400 TEU were shipped.
The positive dynamics are linked to growing demand for transportation along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR, also known as the Middle Corridor).
