Azerbaijan Railways, WB mull development prospects of Middle Corridor

Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) JSC discussed the development prospects of the "Middle Corridor" with the World Bank, the ADY Chairman Rovshan Rustamov said while receiving the delegation led by Antonio Nunez, Infrastructure Program Leader for Central Asia at The World Bank, Report informs.
Emphasizing the experience of efficient cooperation with the World Bank, detailed information was provided regarding the creation of stable and competitive infrastructure in ADY, the implemented transformation program, as well as the work done in the direction of increasing the transit potential.
Also, the possibilities of potential cooperation with the bank in areas such as the development of railway infrastructure and digitalization were widely discussed.
