Area of greenery in Baku to be increased several times

By 2040, it is planned to expand the area of Baku Boulevard and increase the scope of greenery in the capital by approximately 3-4 times, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Firdovsi Aliyev said at the National Urban Forum held in Baku, according to Report.
"Within the framework of the new Master Plan of the capital city, the length of the boulevard will be more than 25 km. It is planned to expand the green area in Baku from the current 920 hectares to 3,169 hectares," he added.
