Anar Guliyev: Great Return drives restoration of liberated territories

The state program Great Return is the key strategic foundation for the restoration of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, the Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, Anar Guliyev, said during the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Report informs.

According to him, the program approved in 2022 represents a comprehensive roadmap for the restoration of cities and villages, infrastructure development, job creation, and ensuring sustainable living conditions for the returning population.

The committee chairman recalled that the liberated territories cover approximately 13,600 square kilometers and include 12 cities, about 300 villages and settlements with a projected population of approximately 1.1 million people.
