Abdulkadir Uraloglu: Passenger transportation will begin after BTK certified

It is planned to start passenger transportation after the works on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway line are completed and certified for passenger transportation, Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Minister, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, said, Report informs.
According to him, construction works are currently underway on the 246-kilometer section of the railway line passing through the territory of Georgia: "In general, works related to passenger transportation between Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye through BTK are underway."
Uraloglu noted that about 1,500,000 tons of cargo have been transported on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line.
