Steel pipe production in Azerbaijan up more than twice

In January-February of this year, 158.8 million ($93.4 million) manats (-39.3%) of metallurgical industry products and finished metal products were produced in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

In the last 1 year, a 35.4% decrease was observed in the production of metallurgical industry products and 4.2% in finished metal products.

During the year, the production of steel pipes in the country increased by 2.1 times and steel casting decreased by 16.4%, fittings by 57.4%, the production of metal constructions in the field of production of finished metal products by 53.8%.
