Azerbaijan plans to cover 70,000 citizens by Coursera educational platform

By April next year, 70,000 people in Azerbaijan are expected to be connected to the Coursera educational platform, one of the world's largest online learning systems, Report informs referring to a statement by 4SIM Executive Director Fariz Jafarov on the second day of the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2025) in Baku, Report informs.

According to him, over the past four months, more than 30,000 Azerbaijani citizens have received approximately 63,000 certificates.

"This platform helps close skills gaps in the shortest possible time. Overall, these initiatives are only part of 4SIM's strategic programs. More than 50 initiatives are planned to be implemented as part of the digital economy strategy, which will create additional value in terms of both contribution to GDP and company growth, as well as attracting international investment and talent to the country," Jafarov said.
