Dutch specialist Edmond Claus appointed AFFA technical director

Dutch specialist Edmond Claus has been appointed as the new technical director of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA).

Report informs, citing AFFA's press service, that the appointment was announced at the association's latest Executive Committee meeting.

Claus has extensive experience in developing young footballers, establishing and managing academies, education, methodology and scouting.

AFFA noted that his work at the academy of Dutch club Ajax, as well as his experience with various age-group national teams of the Netherlands and China, would make an important contribution to his work in Azerbaijan.
