Azerbaijani young pilot secures second place at international karting event

Azerbaijani teenage pilot Davin Jafarov reached the podium at a tournament held in Leiria, Portugal.

According to Report, the race took place at the International Kartodromo de Leiria track, known for its sharp turns and 1,006-meter length.

Eighteen drivers competed in the X30 karting category. Although Davin was a strong contender for first place, he ultimately finished just 0.01 seconds behind the winner.

Following his performance, Davin received an invitation to compete in the ROTAX category race in Bombarral from September 26 to 28, where he will represent the BirelArt team.

On September 29, Davin will travel to Lonato, Italy, to compete in the BMB category at the World Grand Final karting championship.

The global event will be held from October 1 to 5, bringing together drivers from Europe, North and South America, Africa, and Asia.
