Azerbaijani judo fighter crowned US champion

Azerbaijani judoka Nurida Azamatli has won the 32nd US Open Championships held in Orlando, Florida.
Report informs that in the weight category of 34, ten-year-old Nurida beat all her rivals and became a champion.
Though Nurida was born in the United States, her father is a citizen of Azerbaijan. He comes from Sumgayit, where he finished secondary school.
The championship involves professional athletes from all countries. Before that, another Azerbaijani athlete Zaur Jalil (73 kg), rose to the highest stage of the pedestal.
